Where can we practice it?

We can practise Canarian Wrestling in the sand of the beach, in a zone where the land is not too hard and in a "tatami" floor. The Canarian Wrestling is directed by a Federation, so if you want to practise this sport you can contact with local teams. In my zone (Las Galletas), the nearest team is the Chijafe fighting club, who has fields in Cabo Blanco and Valle San Lorenzo (Arona).

Doing this blog, we learned something more about our Islands. A sport, played many years ago. But the sport still beeing played, is a tradition. We love traditions, so we love this sport. Is very interesting how a sport can be played for many centurys without beeing forgotten.

When can we practice it?

You can practise the Canarian Wrestling during the hole year, because is a sport practised indoor. The league is controlated by the Federation, who gives the referees for the matchs and controls all the rules during the competition.
